Overview

Toksave and the ClipSave: Video Saver Android app process public TikTok links that users submit in order to fetch metadata, prepare downloadable media, and support saved collections across the service.

Information We Process

  • TikTok URLs that users paste into the website or the Android app.
  • Basic technical request data such as IP address, browser or app environment, and timestamps for abuse prevention, diagnostics, and service security.
  • Operational logs needed to keep the service stable and secure.
  • On the Android app, locally stored collection names, saved item titles, and saved item links kept on the device.
  • Clipboard content only when the user explicitly taps the Paste button in the Android app.

How We Use Data

  • To process download requests and return media information.
  • To save and organize collections locally on the user's device in the Android app.
  • To support clipboard and sharing actions explicitly initiated by the user.
  • To detect rate abuse, service errors, and malicious traffic.
  • To improve reliability, performance, and compatibility across devices.

Website Storage

The website may use essential cookies or local storage for session handling, language preferences, and core product functionality. You can clear browser storage at any time from your browser settings.

App Storage and Clipboard

ClipSave: Video Saver stores collections locally on the device. This may include collection names, saved item titles, and saved item links. The app reads clipboard content only when the user taps the Paste button and does not continuously monitor clipboard content in the background.

Third-Party Services

Requests may interact with platform infrastructure and hosting, security, or CDN providers used to operate Toksave. In the Android app, submitted links are sent to the Toksave backend at https://toksave.io to return video information or prepare the requested flow. Third-party systems may process technical request data under their own privacy policies.

Data Retention and Deletion

Website-side technical logs may be retained for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting for as long as reasonably needed. In the Android app, local collections remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears app data, or uninstalls the app.
